  42. Wow, I remember Chucky Egg. That game was class!!! I had it on my 
  43. really old Dragon 32 - then got a copy of it for my speccy when I 
  44. upgraded. The spectrum version wasn't that bad but it didn't have the 
  45. *feel* of the Dragon version. I think it would be very hard to get 
  46. the same "feel" for Pitfall that everyone remembers - simply because 
  47. no game's the same as people first remember them, and creating a 
  48. certain "feel" is more down to luck than programming skill.

  52. [BTW if I remember right both me and my sister got to the end of 
  53. chucky egg - but all that happens is you go back to the first screen 
  54. and the timer goes down faster - and that big chicken that chases you 
  55. is faster. Of course, I might not remember right]
